The Raleigh Tavern and its familiar bust of Sir Walter Raleigh, the intrepid English explorer of Virginia and elsewhere in the New World, are landmarks at Colonial Williamsburg in Williamsburg, Virginia. The living-history museum is the world's largest, boasting 200 buildings (88 of them original 18th-Century), more than 40 demonstration sites and trades, four historic taverns, and two art museums.
