A rockabilly-themed mural features country music star Carl Perkins and his band alongside British "Beatle" Paul McCartney on a wall of the International Rockabilly Hall of Fame and Museum in Jackson, a city in central Tennessee. Perkins is credited with founding the rockabilly genre, which is a mix of rock and old-fashioned country (sometimes called "hillbilly") music. [NOTE: The style of music and the museum's name are spelled as one word, but the mural hyphenates "Rock-a-Billy."] Photo by Carol Highsmith, 2021.
